Films with new technology...

Just a crazy thought to help the film producers, theater owners, etc. How about launching a FAAS (Films As A Service), where all the new films that are released will be kept online with telecasting option. All theaters will be provided with specially designed satellite dish with that particular frequency matching. Once they register and pay for the film, they can schedule the shows and at that particular time, the film will be telecasted to that particular frequency based on their subscription. This will help all the film producers to get a good revenue and help the theater owners from avoiding the theater prints. As this is going to be digital, there is no room for compromising on quality.

Each satellite dish will have separate authentication to get recognized with the telecasting server. We can also try including a method to identify whether the satellite dish is showing the picture or its taking more power to receive the film. With the help of this, we can easily know whether the user at the end is really showing the film or he/she is trying to record it in a medium.

A funny thought. Any comments to improve this?
